The mother of Jamie Barrow has thanked people for their help and support over the last fortnight, whilst confirming that he has passed away.
She praised the care and attention given by the emergency services across the Island, in particular their family liason officer, and the staff at Ramsey Police Station.
Speaking of the many messages of support she praised the Island community and how it comes together in such times.
Speaking of her son, she said a kinder and more generous person you could not find.
