Mother hits back at trolls after rude potato shape rant

Loryn shared this picture on Facebook - 3FM has blurred out the expletive

An Island mum's hit back at online trolls who criticised her after she appeared in a Daily Mail article.

Loryn Walker, who's from Ramsey, shared a Facebook photo of a swear word she'd spelt out in potato shapes on her three-year-old son's dinner plate - she'd claimed she was having a bad day.

But after a photo and article appeared in the paper and on its website she faced a barrage of negative comments.

She's now defended her actions and took issue with those who criticised her online - saying she didn't think she'd have to defend herself after what she calls a light-hearted article.

She says the four-letter word was written in jest and doesn't mean she doesn't love her son or that she's a bad parent.

Loryn points out her three year old can't read - and so the picture was intended humorously.

And she defiantly added "I won't apologise for anything".
