This mornings sailing to Heysham will set off an hour early.
The Ben-my-Chree voyage originally expected to leave at 8.45am will now depart at 7.45am with passengers asked to check in no later than 7.15pm.
The Steam Packet Company says the decision has been made due to a rapid deterioration in the weather forecast.
Other sailings this afternoon and tonight are currently unaffected.
