Heysham sailings this morning and this afternoon have been cancelled.
The Steam Packet Company earlier confirmed the 8am crossing to the Lancashire Port and its return at 2.30pm won't be going ahead.
Officials say its because of the poor weather which is forecast.
Passengers due to travel on the morning voyage are being advised to call 661 661 to make alternative arrangements, and those on the afternoon service to contact 08722 992 992 to amend their booking.
