St German's Cathedral wants more time to convert a church hall into a tea room.
The cathedral in Peel was given planning permission in November 2020 to use Corrin Hall as a tea room and build a porch extension with a canopy entrance and rooflights.
But so far the work hasn't taken place, and the permission runs out in three months' time.
The cathedral's now applied for another four years to carry out the work.
