An online fundraiser for a Manx explosives expert who was killed in Ukraine has raised just under £40,000 in a week.
Last week, wellwishers started a GoFundMe page for Peel man Chris Garrett after he was killed defusing a Russian explosive device in the war-torn country.
The charity he founded, Prevail Together, said it hoped to raise enough to repatriate his body and help his partner and young daughter.
Since it was set up last week, it's raised just over $52,000.
