A developer's submitted plans to turn a temporary car park near Tesco into 109 homes.
Dandara has applied for permission to build four blocks of apartments on land behind its Quay West development.
In its application, the company says it plans to connect the flats to Lake Road and a riverside pedestrian and cycle path.
And it adds a site further along the river would form part of the overall development in future.
