The government’s issued 300 parking permits for the Sea Terminal so far this year, for only 158 private spaces on the site.
Those figures were given by the Department of Infrastructure in response to a Freedom of Information request.
There are 208 spaces in total, but 38 of these in the front car park are public - where permit parking is not allowed.
The remaining 12 are contract hire spaces.
