New measures are coming to Ramsey to crack down on irresponsible parking in the town.
Commissioners there say they've recently engaged in a new town warden who, along with DOI parking contractors, will be making more frequent visits to the town to check for parking offences as well as littering and dog fouling.
The local authority is reminding people to stick to the time limit for wherever you park if you're in the town and to avoid parking on pavements as it can obstruct the path for the likes of wheelchair users and guide dogs.
Officials add they don't want to see penalty notices issued but they may be forced to if residents don't follow the rules.
