Do you look after someone with dementia?
If so the Department’s of Health and Social Care are hosting an awareness raising day about the different aspects of the condition tomorrow afternoon.
People who are directly touched by dementia are invited to attend the event at the Villa Marina for an information session and the chance to browse the various stalls.
Dr Chris Jagus is the consultant psychiatrist with the Older Persons Mental Health Service on the Isle of Man.
He says it’s time more attention was given to dementia on Island:

The event will be held between 2pm and 5pm - admission is free.
