Chief Minister Alf Cannan says passing a key financial evaluation next year will bring business confidence and investment to the Island.
This week in Tynwald, he faced questions from Onchan MHK Julie Edge about the European MONEYVAL inspection due next year to check the Island upholds international standards.
Mr Cannan said showing the Isle of Man adheres to money-laundering rules is critical for business here.
And he added passing the evaluation would maintain the Island's reputation:
