Canon Green Faces 8 Counts of Theft, and 10 of False Accounting
The mode of the impending trial of Canon David Green will be determined in court today.
55-year-old Canon Green faces eight counts of theft and ten of false accounting, carried out between 2002 and 2008.
The charges came after an investigation centred on financial irregularities within the Maughold Burial Authority.
A trial will be the culmination of a very lengthy investigation, during which Canon Green fell seriously ill.
When he last appeared he had bail of £1000 granted.
