Island residents received an unexpected surprise last night in the form of a minor Earth tremor.
The tremor came as a consequence of an earthquake in Cumbria, 55 miles North, North East of Douglas.
Measuring 3.6 on the scale it was felt in the Laxey, Ramsey, Peel and Onchan area.
It’s been reported that there were no problems experienced as a result of the tremor.
