The Council of Ministers will decide if the Manx Wildlife Trust can install equipment that would help it track animals.
The organization has applied for planning permission to put antennae at the Ayres Nature Discovery Centre on Lhen Road in Bride.
Four aerials in total would monitor the airwaves listening out for tracking tags on wildlife.
But because the application is on land owned by the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture, ministers will have to decide its fate.
