Minister to be quizzed on TT changes

Enterprise Minister Lawrie Hooper is set to be quizzed on next year's TT schedule in Tynwald this week.

Douglas MHK David Ashford will ask what discussions have taken place with churches, and whether residents inside the course can expect more or less disruption as a result of the changes.

He also wants to know what increase in visitor numbers is expected over the next three years due to the new timetable.

Senior Race day is now scheduled to take place on the Saturday of race week, with the Friday remaining a bank holiday. 

Tynwald sits at 10:30am tomorrow.
