 
                            Treasury Minister, Alf Cannan MHK, will be quizzed tomorrow over the support for local businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He'll be asked by Arbory, Castletown & Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse what discussions have been held with HM Treasury regarding VAT adjustments to help Island organisations through the challenges of the global Coronavirus outbreak.
Back in March, the Treasury announced a £100million series of emergency support packages to help local companies and workers throughout the crisis and protect the Island economy.
These included the COVID-19 Wage Support Scheme, Manx Earnings Replacement Allowance (MERA) initiative and providing businesses with the ability to defer VAT payments due between March and the end of June.
Mr Moorhouse's question for the minister will be put forward when the House of Keys meets in person from 10am tomorrow.
