Treasury Minister Chris Thomas says a subsidised airline isn't spending the government's money elsewhere.
In the House of Keys this week, he faced questions from Onchan MHK Julie Edge about whether Loganair was using subsidy cash in its wider business.
Mr Thomas said the airline was given money to operate services to London City and Heathrow airports.
And he added the way the deal worked meant he was confident the money was being used properly:
