Infrastructure minister Michelle Haywood says new 20mph speed limits will make communities safer, as her department starts to put up signs next week.
Contractors will begin installing the signs in Douglas and Onchan from Monday.
Tynwald unanimously backed the limits in October 2020 and reaffirmed the decision in 2023.
Dr Haywood says the changes are an important step towards making communities safer and more pleasant for everyone.
