Education Minister Daphne Caine says just 22 children who started mainstream education last year weren't toilet trained.
She was asked about the topic in the House of Keys this week by Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
He said he'd been worried by recent UK statistics suggesting the problem there is much worse.
