The Minister for Community Culture and Leisure David Cretney has said he won't be attending a public meeting to discuss the new bus time table.
Two North Douglas MHKs have slammed the new look bus service calling it a complete shambles.
They say its a disgrace and called a public meeting to be held next Monday.
MHK David Cretney, the minister behind the changes, says he prefers to deal with issues on a personal level and has set up a help line.
He said 'As residents may be aware I have declined the opportunity to attend a public meeting next week on the matter my preference being to deal on a personal basis with our customers and recieve their feedback which is what I have been dooing today and will continue to do. A public meeting dealing with so many different routes all at once is a recipe for confusion when I and my officers can concentrate efforts on personal contacts. I welcome anyone contacting me on Answer phone 626765, Email mailto:david.cretney@gov.im , or write to 41 Vicarage Park, Douglas.
This is of course on top of the "Helpline" 662525 or Bus HQ 663366.'
