Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says her department is listening to all views on proposed 20mph limits.
She took to Facebook after meeting people to discuss the proposals at an event in Port Erin this week, saying she was disappointed people still think the DOI isn't listening and some had been rude and disrespectful to her and DOI staff.
In her post, she pointed out that the decision not going someone's way doesn't mean their views have been discounted, just that the department disagreed with their opinion.
She says she's listening to everybody - including what she called "the silent voices" of people who can't speak up for themselves.
