Rushen MHK Phil Gawne says he will walk away from politics if he feels he has to 'compromise morality or conviction'.
The Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister made the comments on Twitter after claiming he was being threatened by an MLC.
He says it's since he brought forward proposals to abolish LegCo in the House of Keys last week - the proposals were not supported.
Now seemingly, anonymous “anti-DEFA” correspondence has been circulated throughout government.
Mr Gawne , who won't name the MLC, says it seems too coincidental:
