Minister explains why we didn't respond to tax comments

Strategic thinking was behind Treasury's decision not to publicly respond to Ed Miliband's recent comments on the Island's tax status.

The Labour Leader said the Island would be put on an international blacklist if it didn't establish a registry for offshore companies.

He has since been accused of not doing his research before launching the attack.
