Taxpayers' money has been wasted by building and then shutting down two police stations on the Isle of Man.
That was the accusation levelled at the Department of Home Affairs this week - Onchan MHK Peter Karran says the facilities in Port Erin and Douglas should never have been built:
There are over £2 million of loan charges outstanding on the station sites - the southern facility has already been closed with officers at Lord Street waiting to be redeployed to Police Headquarters.
Minister Juan Watterson says it's time to let go and release both buildings back for the "benefit of government":
