Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston says a £2.2 million government loan to King William's College is fully repayable.
In the House of Keys this week he faced questions from members about the loan facility offered by his department.
He said the money would be used to support the future of the school in the south of the Island.
But he denied he had any conflict of interest because he was a former student:
