The Island's Minimum wage will go up from next month.
Earlier this year Tynwald members supported the motion for the rate fo increase from £8.25 to £9.50.
From April 1, employees aged 18 and over will receive the new pay.
Meanwhile, the rates for those aged 16-17 will also increase from £6.15 to £6.80, with Development Workers getting £8.05 instead of £7.30.
Enterprise Minister Dr Alex Allinson says recent increases in energy prices and the overall cost of living have made this measure 'more important than ever.'
