Tynwald will be asked to approve a rise in the Island's minimum wage next month.
If agreed at October's sitting, the Single Hourly Rate will increase from £12.25 to £13.46 in April 2026, a rise of 9.9 per cent.
Treasury Minister Dr Alex Allinson said the new rate strikes the right balance between fair pay and economic stability, by prioritising fair wages for those on low pay and supporting the financial stability of businesses.
The Government will review the impact of the policy, with findings due to be published by the end of 2026.
