Police are appealing for witnesses to arson in Ramsey.
On Monday, between 11pm and 1.50am, a considerable amount of damage was done to a public shelter on Mooragh Promenade.
Officers are describing it as a 'mindless and reckless act' - especially at a time when so many people are visiting the Island for TT.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Ramsey Police Station.
