An Island charity is urging people to make sure their moggies are microchipped.
The Manx Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says last year more than 50 strays were brought in - only 19 had chips and five didn't have up to date details.
The organisation says unchipped pets are difficult to reunite with their owners and, unlike dogs, cats don't have to be tagged by law.
On Facebook, it's urging owners to microchip cats and help them come home quickly when they wander off.
