That's the question on the lips of three Tynwald members, who'll raise the subject in the court next week.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse, Ramsey member Laurie Hooper and Legislative Council member David Cretney all have questions on the subject.
The questions come after the BBC said it would scrap a scheme giving over-75s free licences.
