A controversial residential development has now been given the thumbs-up by southern MHKs.
Concern had been raised over Heritage Homes' plan for the Ballakilley site in Rushen.
The developer’s plans were criticised as flying in the face of what the local community wanted who felt there wasn’t enough recreational space.
However after a recent meeting between a working party - consisting of MHKs, commissioners and local sport’s groups – and Heritage Homes the plans have been welcomed.
