There’s a plea for residents of Willaston whose council houses suffer problems with damp to have a reduction in their rents.
The MHKs for north Douglas Bill Henderson and John Houghton have written to the Social Care Minister.
They say dozens of homes on the estate have serious problems with damp and structural failings.
Investigations into the issues are being carried out so Douglas corporation and the government can determine a way forward.
If Minister Chris Robertshaw sanctions the request rents could reduce by £12 per week until a solution is found.
