A Douglas MHK is urging women to get involved in politics - with a promise of advice for anyone who's interested.
Douglas East MHK Clare Barber took to Facebook with an impassioned plea for women to run for the House of Keys.
She says she's happy to meet anybody interested in standing for the Island's parliament to help them understand more about it.
And she adds she'd like to see the "glass ceiling" smashed.
