MHK Chris Thomas wants Government to publish its contribution to the UK’s report on Economic, Social and Cultural rights.
The UK’s report will go to the United Nations; in the past it was flagged up that there was little input from any of the crown dependencies.
Rights for disabled people will be covered in the report; it was announced this week that a consultation into a new equality act will be launched on Island this year.
The member for Douglas West wants input from anybody who has a disability or impairment who wants to have their voice heard.
