Douglas North MHK David Ashford is due to raise the topic in a question in the House of Keys on Tuesday.
He'll ask Infrastructure Minister Chris Thomas what plans are being developed to improve the TT access road or build an alternative.
Mr Ashford will also ask what discussions have been held about the issue within the department.
