Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will put the question to the Home Affairs Minister in the House of Keys next week.
As well as asking for the figure over the festive season, he wants to know how many people were stopped in total during 2018.
It comes following Police revealing 349 vehicles were stopped across the Island during their anti-drink drive campaign in December.
