The decision to keep schools open two days before the Island entered the current lockdown will be discussed by politicians next week.
Onchan MHK Julie Edge will seek answers from Education, Sport & Culture Minister, Dr Alex Allinson MHK, over the matter in the next virtual sitting of the House of Keys.
Ms Edge wants to know what advice was issued to the Council of Ministers by clinical leads and the Director of Public Health which led to the decision to keep schools open on March 1.
Her query will be heard when MHK's next convene for a remote session which will start at 10am next Tuesday (March 23).
