An MHK wants to know how many people have died from sepsis on the Island in the past five years.
Douglas South MHK Kate Beecroft will put the question to the Health and Social Care Minister.
She wants to know how many people have died in each of the last five years from both sepsis and septicaemia.
Mr Ashford's reply will be put forward as a written response.
