Are wallabies protected under the Wildlife Act 1990, and if not, why not?
That's the question Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh will ask the Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture in the House of Keys next week.
It comes following the death of a wallaby earlier this month, after the MSPCA found it had been shot in the head.
The charity stated that as they are not classed as an indigenous species, they are not protected under the law.
