Rushen MHK Juan Watterson has been seeking to find out how many freedom of information requests there have been in the last year.
He sought the information from each government department, looking to find out of the total number, and how many had been responded to within the allotted time frame.
His question came following dissatisfaction over waits he incurred following FOI requests.
The Speaker of the House of Keys reminded the public that they too are entitled to submit these requests, if they feel Ministers and departments are not being transparent on certain matters:
