MHK says Minister should still resign

South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft wants to see the Economic Development Minister stay true to his word and resign over the Sefton loan failings.

It was the Liberal Vannin leader's persistance that saw an independent review carried out into the legality of the loans which were given in 2012 and 2013.

The damning results - that legally they were 'beyond powers' - were revealed in Tuesday's sitting of Tynwald.
