An Onchan MHK is urging people to contact their Tynwald members over moves to strip the bishop of their parliamentary vote.
Rob Callister says many of the Keys members voting in favour of removing the Lord Bishop's Tynwald and Legislative Council voting rights will be going to church in the coming weeks.
On Facebook, he says if you strongly feel the Church should keep its vote in political debates you should contact Tynwald members.
And he says the current Lord Bishop could be the last to vote in Tynwald, which he says would mark the end of an era after 1,000 years of Manx history.
Yesterday, the House of Keys voted to postpone debating the Isle of Man Constitution Bill until January.
