An MHK has quit her political role in the Department of Infrastructure.
In a personal statement, Onchan MHK Julie Edge says it follows a number of developments over the past fortnight.
In particular, it concerns the appointment of MLC Marlene Maska without informing her and the upcoming closure of Summerhill.
Ms. Edge had been responsible for Housing and Public Estates within the DoI for the last four years.
She adds the final straw was the lack of discussion over next week's Summerhill closure at a meeting intended to discuss traffic issues in Onchan.
