An MHK says the UK's refusal to put Manx assisted dying laws forward for Royal Assent is "concerning".
On X, formerly Twitter, Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper says it's troubling to see the UK government get so involved in our legislation .
In his post, he described this morning's announcement as a "highly unusual step", and says it raises serious constitutional concerns.
He added: "We are not a colony of the UK".
