Onchan MHK Rob Callister says he's appalled poles for 20mph signs are being put up as a public consultation continues.
At the weekend, he said Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood told Tynwald her department is currently consulting the public about proposed 20mph zones.
But he says poles being put up in Douglas and Onchan - raising concerns about the process.
On Facebook, he accused the government of failing to listen, adding public confidence in the administration is at an all-time low.
