Numerous questions about the future of residential care homes on the Island will be asked today.
North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson will quiz the Social Care Minister in the House of Keys.
He wants to know about the department’s plans to close Reayrt ny Baie and Cummal Mooar and build new accommodation.
If this happens Mr Henderson wants to know if the department will own and operate the buildings and if and how staff will be affected.
He has also asked about planned changes at the Southlands unit – and for figures of how much money has been spent on all three buildings in the last five years.
