Travellers heading to the Channel Island’s should find the domestic transfer an easier process now – thanks to a change in policy.
Those flying via Gatwick airport had to leave through the baggage reclaim area only to be forced to go back through security again for a second time since boarding the initial flight.
Home Affairs Minister Juan Watterson took it upon himself to seek the reasoning for this, enquiring as to why it couldn’t be made easier.
After many back and forths with the airport Gatwick has now changed the format meaning only one trip through security is required.
The Minister said it took some time but a rational solution has been found:
