Onchan MHK Peter Karran is calling for government to be proactive in advertising the Attorney General job.
Today in the House of Keys he will ask the Chief Minister what action has been taken to re-advertise the position.
Last March John Quinn took up the post – following the suspension of predecessor Stephen Harding.
He was appointed on a year’s contract while Mr Harding faced a court case – for which he has now been acquitted.
Mr Karran says clarification as to what happens now is needed:
Drone ban for skateboarding championship
Pick it up plea from Castletown commissioners
New online Isle of Man guide for refugees and asylum seekers
Lifeboat called to yacht's rescue
