MHK attacks Treasury over misleading budget

Michael MHK Alf Cannan has accused the Treasury Minister of misleading people over the rebalancing of public finances.

He has branded rebalancing a "myth" - reflected by the fact government has only managed to slow reserve spending by £5m in the last four years.

His comments come following yesterday's Budget - which he went on to support.

Mr Cannan says in reality government is faced with a £100m problem, with no tangible plan to address the issue:
