A yellow weather warning has been issued for coastal overtopping.
The Ronaldsway Met Office says the warning is in place from 10am until 2.30pm today.
Strong winds could mean water and debris washing onto exposed coastal roads around high tides.
Promenades in Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey are expected to be most at risk, along with parts of Shore Road and, to a lesser extent, Castletown promenade.
